Footwork

FOOTWORK on the reformer should only be a warm up for the client.  Remember: the client just walked in – maybe they’re stressed from work, traffic, parking etc.  The first thing they do is lie on the reformer so give them time to just settle in.

If I start giving them instructions too soon it will throw them off. It is about their workout. It’s about them.

I only just do hands on correct feet positions.  “Pet their feet”, as my mentor Karen Frishmann would say!

But allow them to just move.
